Dear friend,
Are you having trouble with weight loss due to and injury or illness? Weight loss can be a major concern if you are no longer as active as you once were. You can develop health related problems from being over weight such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. There are activities and programs so you can exercise with very little impact or stress on your body. Weight gain and lack of exercises are only part of the problems that can develop from an injury that restricts your activities.
With an injury or illness you can have depression issues, stress, pain problems and more that can effect why you may gain weight and not be as active as you were. We are going to address these issue as I have seen them I had a back injury six years ago and have chronic leg and back pain. With weight loss and chronic pain there seems to be similar problems because of the day in and day out toll on mind and body.
There are some simple exercises to help with pain or stress such as deep breathing that releases endorphins, which are our natural pain medicine. You have to breathe from the abdomen not from the chest. Also did you know that by drinking ice water you can burn 20 calories because it takes that much energy to warm up the body again.
These are just a few of the helpful tips that I have learned you can find more tips on the tips page and there are some books on weight loss on the products page.
